Ct. St. Bernard #886-Lismore has continued to collect “birthday bags”  The bags are filled with the makings of a “happy birthday” to be given out at the local food shelf. The history behind the project is that if people are utilizing the food shelf, it is very unlikely that they are able to purchase any extras 
for a birthday. Some of the items in a birthday bag include: cake mix & frosting, paper plates, and candles. Optional items include plastic forks, balloons, party hats, etc. Catholic Daughters hope to bring the “happy” into someone’s birthday. District Deputy Theresa Steve delivered 17 bags of birthday goodness from our court to the Manna Food Pantry.
